Bison was founded by The Terry and Kim Pegula Family Office known as East Asset Management in conjunction with operating partner Teton Capital Partners founded by Brad Ball and his team of executives.
As Terry Pegula rose from petroleum engineer to Billionaire Oil and Gas Entrepreneur, Philanthropist, and Professional Sports Team Owner the family was amazed to see all the products, services, and capabilities that became available to them. Bison seeks to make these family office tools available to Bison clients.

Zac Truman is a finance and MBA graduate from the Mike Ilitch School of Business at Wayne State University. He is a former All-American student-athlete and served as the team captain for the Wayne State University Cross-Country team. Currently, Zac works as an associate advisor at Bison Wealth Detroit, where he utilizes his financial expertise to work in conjunction with the wealth management team, helping families achieve their financial goals.
An avid marathoner, Zac recently completed his first Boston Marathon. He enjoys spending quality time with his family and friends and is passionate about outdoor activities, distance running, and is a proud Detroit Pistons supporter. He is committed to personal and professional growth, continuously striving to enhance his skills and provide exceptional service to the families we serve.
