Bison was founded by The Terry and Kim Pegula Family Office known as East Asset Management in conjunction with operating partner Teton Capital Partners founded by Brad Ball and his team of executives.
As Terry Pegula rose from petroleum engineer to Billionaire Oil and Gas Entrepreneur, Philanthropist, and Professional Sports Team Owner the family was amazed to see all the products, services, and capabilities that became available to them. Bison seeks to make these family office tools available to Bison clients.

Amity Lackey is an award-winning marketing executive with deep experience leading brand, digital, and growth strategies across Fortune 500 companies and high-growth organizations. She brings a proven ability to elevate brands, strengthen client and customer engagement, and build scalable marketing functions across B2B, B2C, and multi-channel environments.
Amity graduated from Georgia Southern University and began her career in the agency world, leading digital marketing strategies before moving client-side. She has held senior leadership roles at Sysco Foodservice, IHG Hotels & Resorts, and HeatTrak, where she oversaw integrated marketing, brand strategy, loyalty programs, and customer experience initiatives. She has earned industry recognition, including Direct Marketing News’ “30 Under 30” and multiple American Marketing Association awards for excellence in marketing and brand growth.
She lives in Atlanta, GA, with her husband, two children, and dog, and enjoys spending time with family, traveling, fishing, and listening to music.
