About Bison Wealth

Empowering individuals and families to build a lasting legacy.

Our Culture

We created Bison with a vision that families benefit from 3 simple concepts.  Plan, Protect, and Prosper. Bison was founded by The Terry and Kim Pegula Family Office known as East Asset Management in conjunction with operating partner Teton Capital Partners founded by Brad Ball and his team of executives.

As Terry Pegula rose from petroleum engineer to Billionaire Oil and Gas Entrepreneur, Philanthropist, and Professional Sports Team Owner the family was amazed to see all the products, services, and capabilities that became available to them. Bison seeks to make these family office tools available to Bison clients.

Dirk Wall

Wealth Advisor

Eagle, ID

For more than three decades, my career in financial services has taken me down less conventional paths, allowing me to develop a broad and practical perspective on wealth, risk, and long-term planning. Growing up with limited resources—and helping raise animals for food—shaped my understanding of money at an early age and instilled a deep appreciation for responsibility, discipline, and self-reliance. Those experiences ultimately became an advantage, enabling me to better serve others.

Early in my career, I discovered that the most meaningful measure of success was the positive impact I could have on people’s financial lives. As a licensed Fiduciary, I built and led a holistic advisory firm for more than 15 years before merging with Bison Wealth to expand our capabilities and deliver a comprehensive, multi-family service model with a broader range of tools and resources.

I believe people are inherently driven to make a difference, and for me, meaningful work has become a lifelong pursuit. This purpose fuels a constant desire to learn, grow, and help clients make informed, confident decisions. The idea of not serving as a trusted financial resource is unthinkable, as this responsibility carries the opportunity to truly improve outcomes and create lasting value.

Throughout this journey, I have been supported by my wife, Stacey, for over 34 years. Together, we are grateful for the close and enduring relationships we share with our two daughters, which have remained strong through life’s challenges. I am incredibly proud of them both for their integrity, accountability, and commitment to living by the principle that their word is their bond.
