About Bison Wealth

Empowering individuals and families to build a lasting legacy.

Our Culture

We created Bison with a vision that families benefit from 3 simple concepts.  Plan, Protect, and Prosper. Bison was founded by The Terry and Kim Pegula Family Office known as East Asset Management in conjunction with operating partner Teton Capital Partners founded by Brad Ball and his team of executives.

As Terry Pegula rose from petroleum engineer to Billionaire Oil and Gas Entrepreneur, Philanthropist, and Professional Sports Team Owner the family was amazed to see all the products, services, and capabilities that became available to them. Bison seeks to make these family office tools available to Bison clients.

Growing up, my grandmother would share stories of working in her father’s grocery store during the Great Depression. She never forgot the impact of him leveraging his business to feed his community in their time of need. Witnessing him value the people he served over business profits changed her life forever.

The core values that my great grandfather instilled in her, she instilled in me. Mainly, how leveraging your business can have a life changing impact for the families you serve. That is living a life of true significance and legacy. I want my children to grow up seeing the same inspiring example that my grandmother had. I went to college to be a Division One athlete and become an architect. Unfortunately, there was no path in corporate America that allowed me to fulfill my vision for my family.

At 26 years old, I got married and started Safe Harbor Retirement Advisors. I never imagined all this would evolve into and just how impactful I could be in peoples’ lives. When you live out your calling, your “work” is life giving. Our customer service experience is as unique and personal as your own story. I’d love to hear your story and goals for the future. You can’t buy more time so let’s accelerate your life of significance.
