Bison was founded by The Terry and Kim Pegula Family Office known as East Asset Management in conjunction with operating partner Teton Capital Partners founded by Brad Ball and his team of executives.
As Terry Pegula rose from petroleum engineer to Billionaire Oil and Gas Entrepreneur, Philanthropist, and Professional Sports Team Owner the family was amazed to see all the products, services, and capabilities that became available to them. Bison seeks to make these family office tools available to Bison clients.

At Bison Wealth, Patti Janco-Tupper works closely with high-net-worth individuals and families to create customized plans for protecting and growing their wealth, often across multiple generations. She also helps nonprofit foundations and endowments realize their long-term financial objectives through effective planning and investment management.
Many of Patti’s clients are serial entrepreneurs who lead busy lives both personally and professionally. They come to her because they know they can trust her to manage their finances with diligence and care. This allows them to focus on their business ventures, families, and the causes they value most. Clients tell her they appreciate the range of perspectives and practical solutions she brings to the table, helping them explore issues from multiple angles and make confident decisions.
Prior to joining Capital Group, Patti worked at Wells Fargo Private Bank, Deutsche Bank Private Bank, and Citi Private Bank. She earned a BS from Fairfield University and is actively involved with several nonprofits, including the Nassau County Museum of Art, Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, Island Harvest, North Shore Child & Family Guidance Center, and Women Economic Developers of Long Island.
