Bison was founded by The Terry and Kim Pegula Family Office known as East Asset Management in conjunction with operating partner Teton Capital Partners founded by Brad Ball and his team of executives.
As Terry Pegula rose from petroleum engineer to Billionaire Oil and Gas Entrepreneur, Philanthropist, and Professional Sports Team Owner the family was amazed to see all the products, services, and capabilities that became available to them. Bison seeks to make these family office tools available to Bison clients.

Sofia serves as a Trader and Operations Analyst, supporting daily trading activities and overseeing operational processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency across the firm. Her role combines trade execution support with data analysis and reporting to maintain smooth workflows and support informed decision-making.
Sofia holds a degree in Computer Information Systems with a concentration in Data Analytics from the J. Mack Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University, where she developed strong skills in data analysis, modeling, and process optimization. She is passionate about leveraging technology to enhance operational efficiency and continues to expand her expertise within the financial services industry.
Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, exploring new cultures, and spending time outdoors. She is also actively involved in volunteering, contributing her time to support community initiatives and foster meaningful connections.
